Acknowledgement of Country & Reconciliation

Our commitment to respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the communities where we work — including Dharawal Country in the Illawarra and the many Countries of Greater Sydney.

Acknowledgement of Country

Eneljay Nursing Staffing acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We recognise the Dharawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the Illawarra, and we acknowledge the many Aboriginal nations of the Greater Sydney region.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who continue to care for Country, culture, and community.

Our reconciliation commitment

As a nursing and aged care staffing agency serving residential facilities across Sydney and the Illawarra, we understand that respectful care includes cultural awareness and dignity for every resident, family, and worker.

Respect in care settings

We encourage our nursing and care staff to approach every placement with respect for culture, identity, and the preferences of residents and their families.

Inclusive workplaces

We welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and care workers, and we aim to provide a fair, respectful path into placements with our facility partners.

Listening and learning

We are committed to ongoing learning about local histories and cultures, and to listening to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices in the communities we serve.

This statement reflects our values. It is not a formal Reconciliation Action Plan or certification. We will keep strengthening how we put respect into practice in our day-to-day staffing work.
